GOLDEN BAY: SPORTS PAVILION
Client: City Of Rockingham
Architect: Site Architecture Studio
Working for the City of Rockingham with Site Architecture to construct the uniquely shaped new development of a sports pavilion at Rhonda Scarrott Reserve, as well as the refurbishment of the Coastal Community change rooms.
The Football shaped building incorporated a commercial kitchen, Burch ply cladded bar and servery, commercial coolroom, canteen with internal and external access, a large open clubroom area including stage / dance floor, an administration office, club store with secure link mesh fenced area, community amenities including UAT and adult change facilities.
The landscaping package consisted of a Nature Playground with all the items being made from the same single tree.
Situated around the perimeter of the building, are customised screen printed glass panels, which had each dot individually placed and surveyed to match the steel.
Renovation of the existing clubroom facilities included 4 new change room and amenity facilities, store rooms and canteen.
