A unique project with the Department of Building Management & Works. This project brief from Slavin Architects was to transform an existing library, music room and art room into a building with a 2nd level including the addition of; 5 General learning area classrooms, with large co-working breezeway area. A large staff room with meeting room facilities. Bathroom and cleaner Facilities, a Lift to bring the building in line with the current accessibility codes, including access to both ends of the building with

Reinstatement of the entire lower level with custom cabinetry installed to provide ample storage throughout.

BE Projects team were able to add value during construction for example, turning the exterior cladding and soffit 10mm joints to a feature by ensuring installation maintained one continuous line.

This value adding was also apparent in the carefully designed and thought out finishing details where building material transitions around the building
