About the CADET role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a 3rd or 4th year student to be involved in all aspects of Estimating and general Project Duties within the Construction Industry and will provide an opportunity to engage with industry professionals as well as interact with Subcontractors, Clients and Architects.

Estimating responsibilities include:

• Receive subcontractor calls & answer Tender queries

• Receive and log all Tender quotations

• Working with the team to complete drawing take-offs

• Document control for Tenders including printing & transmittals

• Preparing Documents to call for RFQ

• Price Deliverables on tenders

• Organise attendance to Site Inspections

• Prepare Tender documentation including; Programme, Construction Methodology, & OH&S.

 

Project responsibilities include:

• New project start-up & site mobilisation preparation

• Working with our suite of contracts; predominantly AS2124

• Perpetration of OH&S Documentation

• Logging Project QA documentation

• Document control including drawings, RFI’s and AI’s

• Prepare Site Meeting Agenda packs

• Attending Site Meeting and distributing minutes

• Monitor & Update Site Contacts

• Preparing Warranty Documentation for Practical completion
