Perth Waldorf School: New Build 3 Classroom, Staff Room & Amenities

The project comprised of 360m2 of wood frame building including a new library Addition, 2 New General Learning Area teaching block, New IT Learning Area and Staff Amenities.

BE Projects successfully delivered a project which was not only interesting and rewarding for us as a team, but provided significant benefit to our client, The Perth Waldorf School.

Designed using large span site fabricated timber trusses, timber joinery and cedar weatherboard cladding, recent additions to The Perth Waldorf School in Bibra Lake relate well to the bushland context. Although the site is located within a predominantly built up area, the natural bush setting provides a "sanctuary like" school environment. The High School buildings are joined with north facing verandah which provide a covered circulation areas. The organic roof forms and natural materials used, reference the adjacent high school buildings.  Well done to Jason onsite our subcontractors and Isaac supporting from the office.

This contract contained many technical aspects including compliance testing while working in a fire prone area.
